Those of you who have wandered here following links from my daily blog, will already know the sad story of Sir Corkival. If you are here by some other trick of fate, welcome, and you can catch up on this intrepid characters exploits here, here and here.
To cut a long story short, Sir Corky took up residence in a twig fort which appeared down the road, only to be attacked and ravaged by evil squirrels who chewed off his face – it was horrible.
Anyway, Corky has undergone face-transplant surgery, and today the bandages finally came off. On the plus side the operation was a great success and the little man is doing very well. Sadly though Corky’s insurance wasn’t the best, and the only face available was that of a cyclops who died in a tragically after a battle with some ruffian called Sinbad.
Being the brave knight that he is, S.C. is making the bet of things, and spent his first day out of hospital being pedaloed around a lake. He is a firm believer in looking on the bright side. A lesson to us all.
